This painting was one of the last I completed in 2008. It's a small study that I did as an exercise over the course of a few evenings to keep in practice. The subject depicts a highly simplified version of the view from the front of my house in suburban Raleigh."Street Corner at Night." Oil on stretched canvas, 12 x 16 inches. Completed December 2008.
